Honestly loved this place. The cafe/building, the staff and the food were all absolutely fantastic. I had the Katsu seitan flatbread, the nicest meal I’ve had in a while. I was sad I hadn’t stayed locally because I would’ve gone back the next day! But I shall definitely be getting back there one day soon. PS thank you so much for the recommendations of places to visit, we had a great time Free car park outside. Outdoor garden. Dog friendly.
We had the most wonderful breakfast! The staff were amazing, especially with our 2 year old son. I can highly recommend The Station Coffee Kitchen, we will definitely be back to try their lunch menu.
Best vegan restaurant I have dined at in the UK! We came here at around 12 and were able to choose from both the breakfast and lunch menus. From the breakfast menu we ordered the 'avo smash' flatbread; from the lunch menu we ordered the 'fish cake' and 'chilli' flatbread. The avo flatbread was pretty good: a simple yet tasty guacamole loaded onto a fluffy, naan-like flatbread. I enjoyed the chilli flatbread: tender pinto beans and fresh veg worked well with the bread and paired with the cream sauce. My favourite dish was the 'fish' cake - which was actually made from butter beans. It was served with a side of amazing warm, creamy butter beans and fresh leeks and the fishcake itself was soft on the inside, with slight fishiness provided with the addition of seaweed flakes. To drink we ordered a fruit tea, which was warming, and thoughtfully served with mini jammy dodger biscuits. The portion sizes were really big and provided good value for money, and the service was also reasonably fast. What struck me the most about the restaurant was its surreal, calming ambience. With a rural and secluded location, it provided a sense of tranquility with its rustic, open, decor. A must try if you are in Stokesley for veg and non veg diets alike. Also suitable for regular visits as the menu changes on a regular basis, so there is always something new to try!
Had the pea, leek and watercress soup with (homemade) gluten free flatbread. Delicious . Quaint little venue, out the way of town. Very pleasant welcoming staff
Great place to visit, lovely atmosphere and fabulous healthy food options
Love this place so much. Amazing plant based food that you would never know wasn't diary. The pancakes are honestly the best we've had, incredible. The cream on top was unbelievable! Super friendly staff and dog friendly which was a massive plus for us. Reasonably priced for the fresh amazing food.
vegan-only restaurant, but as a meat-eater I think this might just be my favourite place to eat in all of the Tees valley. The gyros is incredible, really friendly staff and a cool aesthetic in both music and decor. Well worth the drive
My first ever visit to a Vegan cafe and I was pleasantly surprised, my wife and I went for breakfast and to be honest I didn't know what to expect but the food was excellent as was the service from the lady who served us (I think she ...
